• The NIBCO® wafer type butterfly valve provides bubble-tight shutoff at 250 PSI and is recommended for quick installation and removal from piping. The valve performs well in isolation and throttling applications, commercial and some light industrial process applications, including HVAC and vacuum services.
• The NIBCO® ductile iron butterfly valves provide ease of operation with quarter-turn (90 degrees) open to close. The unique molded-in Buna-N seat liner with ductile iron disc provides good abrasion resistance properties and compatibility with solvents, oil, water and hydraulic fluid for compressed air and vacuum applications. With the internal stem/disc geometric drive design there is no need for pins or bolts that may create leak paths or turbulence in the waterway. An extended neck allows for insulation up to 2 inches.
