• The NIBCO® iron Y-strainer filters rust, pipe scale and dirt to protect valves, meters, regulators, etc. in steam, gases or liquid piping systems. The Y-strainer includes a wire mesh straining screen that is accessible without removing the strainer from the line.
• The strainer is a "Y" type with a branch angled off the flow path. It features a tapped screw-in bonnet with blow-off plug for screen maintenance. The strainers are equipped with female threaded end connections for easy installation.
