• The NIBCO® BenchPress® carbon steel union features a black EPDM O-ring and stainless steel gripper ring. Simply applying pressure from a press tool tightens the O-ring onto the pipe, ensuring a clean and seal in seconds with no threading required. The union has press connections and a female NPT thread. It is used to allow repair to the line without damage between a press connection and threaded connection.
