Osborn Flexsweep blocks are lacquered hardwood maple and include a revolutionary new brace design. The compact shape of the brace allows the broom to reach confined areas like corners and shelves, unlike full block brace designs. Its urethane construction absorbs shock from impact and allows the broom to flex slightly, lessening fatigue and extending block life. The handle is firmly attached to the block without threads, providing extra strength and preventing handle wear.
